I've noticed French used in a couple of interesting/odd ways while I've been in Boston but nothing as funny as this.
Last night I even saw a miniature Eiffel Tower decked out with lights in front of a French bistro. I wish that I could have taken a picture but I was the T (metro).
There definitely is the belief among Anglophones that a little bit of French adds a dash of sophistication to almost anything...
My immature side is totally cracking up over this. LOL!
